Video - "Mis-Adventures In Rimworld s01e01" - Testing Out Youtube's Gaming Channel And Live Streaming

So I decided to try out the youtube's gaming channel and streaming service, and see how it compares to the twitch streaming experience.

Overall I think I kind of like the youtube aspect a bit more, however the processing time it seems to take is a bit much.  I think I'd still just stream live, but then do all the editing and posting after the effect rather than wait for youtube to process the video and their editor isn't the greatest in end use as well, when compared to the likes of premier.

With that said I'd still maybe do the straight to the web, for maybe like live little quick bit shows like maybe live Q&A's, etc.  We'll see! :)  I'll certainly continue to play games and stream when I've got the time.  I really like playing Rimworld in a frustratingly satisfying way, whenever I feel the need for some survival game pangs.

Video : Epic Air Hockey Championship - Wheeler VS Tran

At a recent company outing we went to a nearby bowling alley and two of my friends played some air hockey.  I whipped out my phone and decided to record some footage and then do a little editing in premiere.  I hope you like this little video as it was pretty fun to throw together.  Enjoy! :D

Video : Mis-Adventures In Hearthstone s01e01 - I Finally Win One With My Hunter Deck!

So i've been playing a bit of Hearthstone : Heroes Of Warcraft, essentially its Blizzard Entertainment attempt at Magic The Gathering, however its more MTG "Lite".  Don't get me wrong I love to sit down and play for 10 min and bust out my "dailies" in Hearthstone, a mechanic they carried over form World of Warcraft.   Just there is more overall complexity with MTG than their is with Hearthstone at this time.

Its certainly lots of fun to play just like magic, and you get somewhat the same thrill of gathering and collecting cards as well as having the ability of "crafting" cards by "disenchanting" either multiple of cards you have or ones you dont wan to use which isn't something you can do with worthless common cards.  However there is no "trading" in Hearthstone.  So really the only thing you can do is disenchant for "dust" which then allows you to craft cards you might not have yet.

Its estimated that 20 million people enjoy the game and .5% of that playerbase has reached "Legendary" status (winning over 500 times in each character class).  There are both PC clients as well as apps for both android and ios!

So Here is one of my initial wins using my Hunter Class "Beasts" decks.  Feel free to comment in the video description.  While I pull out a win, I make a ton of mistakes along the way, and hey upon reviewing these mistakes its already made me a better player :)

Video : H1Z1 s01e03 - Chipmunks Of Doom!

I've been playing H1Z1 and streaming on Twitch ( < click to follow me there for upcoming livestream of gaming!) This is the gameplay video from those sessions edited down with some added flair, hehe.

Here is episode Three!, "Chipmunks Of Doom!"  This game play was a bit long, so I sped up the footage, which turned into hilarious hi-pitched voices.

I started out at a spawn point after dying from a previous session, to which some idiot savant spawned next to me and of course tried to do a beat down.  After loosing "Mr. Special",  I was hold up waiting to meet up with a friend at an industrial complex.  A bit of confusion ensues on my part as what I assume is my friend running up on me ends up being another player, luckily he's a terrible shot and doesn't kill me at point blank range! (not even sure if he hits me).  Well after a bit of trying to actually save and work with other players my friend shows up and we're forced to kill the other players.  For once we go out on top!

I've been playing H1Z1 and streaming on Twitch ( < click to follow me there for upcoming livestream of gaming!) This is the gameplay video from those sessions edited down with some added flair, hehe.

Here is episode Two!, "Dance of Death!"  A friend and I are looting some apartments in a complex and we run into a reallygooddancer and his friend, ultimately another player serves up our "just deserts" as even the moves we gleaned from a reallygooddancer isnt enought to evade arrow fire from the player with the high ground. Two headshots later and the session was over.
